One of my oldest hobbies is playing with computers. They have always fascinated me with their ability to create whole new worlds and ways to imagine data that wouldn’t be possible without them (though obviously I didn’t put it that way as a kid).
When I was 5 I was amazed by the internet and the endless amounts of information that was out there.
When I was 9 it was building and tinkering with computers that I loved. It was like a lego set that opened up a whole new world of possibilities. Like Minecraft!
Minecraft lead to mods which lead me to take an interest in programming, first trying to learn java, then some python.
That interest would ebb and flo for the next years as my interests moved to Rubik’s Cubes and cute boys.
But I would always came back to computers, because to me they seemed magical, and I wanted to understand that magic.
After many abandoned ideas and lots of deleted code (and a few websites just like this), I’m still coming back to it, I don’t know how long it’ll last this time but, life isn’t meant to be spent all in one place.
